The visit in Latvia – Dobele 15.05-21.05.2022
Our fifth mobility took place in Latvia and lasted 5 day. Our students had a chance to visit another country and see their friends again. During Latvian mobilities we did a lot of fantastic activities but we really enjoyed spending time in the nature and breathing fresh air by the Baltic sea. The most important was taking part in THE INTERNATIONAL INDOOR CLIMBING CONTEST. We did a great job and we were rewarded with medals and cups. Thank you Latvia for your hard work and being a great host! 😊
DAY 1
– Arrivals accommodation in the hotel.
DAY 2
– Welcome at school and visiting it,
– watching a performance prepared by students and teachers,
– Taking part in Hand Therapy and P.E. classes (dancing),
– eTwinning connection with teachers from Poland, Turkey and Spain and observing the lessons,
– Visiting the Jaunpils Palace and a historical museum,
– Walking around the town.
DAY 3
– Power Point presentations about Latvia, Dobele and the school.
– Watching an instructional film about indoor climbing,
– Doing the indoor climbing training,
– Taking part in the international indoor climbing competition,
– The ceremony of handing in certificates.
DAY 4
– Visit in Municipality of Dobele,
– Watching Power Point presentation about our symbol – lilac,
– Taking part in Cooking classes and PE lessons,
– eTwinning connection with teachers from Poland, Turkey and Spain and observing the lessons,
– Taking part in English classes and ICT classes,
– Visiting Tervetes Nature park and trekking.
DAY 5
– Playing old Latvian games,
– Using ITC technology (tablets) to play outdoor game connected with Latvian culture, language and sights,
– Walking in The Nature Park “Dunduri” and arboretum “Lāčupītes”,
– Hiking along the Baltic sea.
DAY 6
– Trip in Riga,
– Visiting the museum,
– Official dinner in the hotel with handing in certificates.
DAY 7
– Farwell and departures.
