The visit in Spain – Sagunto.

Presentations about different disabilities and ilnesses presented and discussed during our mobilities:

Epilepsy

Hypertension

Down Syndrome

Autısm

Praderwilli syndrom

Our second mobility took place in Spain and lasted 3 days. We had a chance to meet each other face to face for the first time. The CEE SANT CRISTOFOL school prepared a schedule which helped us to meet the teachers, see the school, work on our project and exchange experience on teaching methods. During this short mobility we did a lot of interesting activities.

Day 1:

– Welcome and introduction of participants,

– Exchanging gifts,

– Visiting school, meeting teachers and observing classes,

– Discussing the implementation of THE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAMME in our schools (+ filling in a survey),

– Historical and cultural visit of Sagunto.

Day 2:

– Taking part in the theatre of shadows and making a performance entitled “THE VEGETABLE MAGICIAN”,

– Meeting with the local authorities and discussing the functioning of school, facilities and the influence of project on school, its teachers and students,

– Visiting a basketball sport centre adopted to disabled students in Valencia and observing trainings,

– Visiting a football sport centre “LAVANTE UD foundation” and observing a training with disabled students.

Day 3:

– Working on eTwinning and using it to connect with other teachers,

– Delivering presentations on:

BREATHING TECHNIQUES,

MOTIVATING STUDENTS,

INNOVATIVE METHODS USED TO WORK WITH SEN STUDENTS,

EPILEPSY.

– Observing HYDROTHERAPY classes at the swimming pool,

– Taking Part in HEALTHY FOOD ACTIVITIES  with Spanish students,

– Observing the preparation of a TYPICALL PAELLA in a school canteen and eating it together,

– Walking at the seaside.

Day 4:

– Delivering presentations on:

DOWN SYNDROME,

AUTISTIC STUDENTS,

PRADER WILLI SYNDROME,

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.

DIABETES,

– presenting 7 days bill of fares for:

DOWN SYNDROME STUDENTS,

OBESSE STUDENTS,

AUTISTIC STUDENTS,

DIABETES STUDENTS.

Day 5:

– Farewell at school and handing in certificates.
